Post Every Blog Post 10 Times: The Checklist and the 7 Prompts That Write Each Post

Posting every blog post 10 times is a repurposing checklist that turns one blog post into ten posts on ten channels. The ten: a link post on LinkedIn, Facebook and X, a reel on Instagram and Facebook, the same video on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, a carousel, a Story, an email, three Google Business Profile posts, an answer in a local Facebook group, a thread on X with the link in the reply, and an answer in the Reddit thread where someone asked the question. The checklist is below, then one prompt for each post that needs writing. Copy a prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, paste your blog post where it says to, and send.

The checklist. Copy it into Notes, Notion or the bottom of your publishing doc, and tick it every time you hit publish.

For every blog post:
[ ] 1. Share the link on LinkedIn, Facebook and X (business page, then personal profile)
[ ] 2. Film a 30 second reel and post it on Instagram and Facebook
[ ] 3. Repost the same video file on TikTok and YouTube Shorts
[ ] 4. Make a 7 slide carousel for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
[ ] 5. Post a 3 frame Story with a link sticker on Instagram and Facebook
[ ] 6. Email it to your list
[ ] 7. Publish 3 Google Business Profile posts, one week apart
[ ] 8. Answer a question in a local Facebook group and add the link
[ ] 9. Post it as a thread on X, link in the first reply
[ ] 10. Answer the Reddit thread where someone asked the question, link at the end

Prompt 1: the link captions (step 1, LinkedIn, Facebook and X).

Prompt Link captions
You write social media captions. Below is a blog post. Write three captions that share it as a link: one for LinkedIn, one for Facebook, one for X.

First, read the post and write down the single most useful thing a reader gets from it. All three captions sell that one thing and nothing else.

LinkedIn: 4 to 6 lines, blank line between each. The first line must work on its own, because that is all anyone sees before "see more". Last line tells people to read the post.
Facebook: 2 to 3 sentences. Open with a mistake people make or a blunt claim. Last sentence tells people to read the post.
X: under 240 characters so the link fits. One claim, one reason to click.

Rules:
- Each caption opens differently from the other two.
- Tease the answer, never give it away.
- Only facts and numbers that appear in the post. Invent nothing.
- Plain spoken English. No emojis, no hashtags.
- Put [LINK] where the link goes.

Format your answer as:
LINKEDIN:
FACEBOOK:
X:

Prompt 2: the reel script (step 2, Instagram and Facebook; the same file goes to TikTok and YouTube Shorts in step 3).

Prompt Reel script
You write scripts for 30 second talking-head videos. Turn the blog post below into a reel script I will read to camera.

Step 1. Read the post and pick the one takeaway that is most useful or most surprising. That is the reveal. Ignore everything else in the post.

Step 2. Write three hook lines. Each is the first sentence I say:
- 10 words or fewer
- A blunt claim or a direct instruction, never a question, never "did you know"
- Promises the reveal without giving it away
- Uses a number if the post has one
Make them different: one blunt claim, one instruction, one that names a common mistake.

Step 3. Write the script with the strongest hook, and tell me which one you chose:
1. Hook, 2 to 3 seconds.
2. Setup, 3 to 5 seconds: who this is for or what it fixes.
3. Build, 15 to 18 seconds: three short points, each one making the viewer need the next. Hold the best piece back.
4. Reveal, 4 to 5 seconds: the line that pays off the hook.
5. Call to action, 2 to 3 seconds, one line.

Rules:
- 75 to 85 words in total.
- One sentence per line so I can read it off a teleprompter.
- Spoken English, short sentences, no jargon the post's reader would not use.
- Only facts and numbers from the post.
- No emojis, no hashtags, no camera directions.

Format your answer as:

Prompt 3: the carousel (step 4, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).

Prompt Carousel
You write Instagram carousels. Turn the blog post below into a 7 slide carousel I will lay out in Canva.

Step 1. Read the post and pick the one idea a reader would save for later. The carousel covers only that idea.

Step 2. Write three options for the slide 1 headline: 8 words or fewer, a blunt claim or an instruction, a number if the post has one, no questions. One blunt claim, one instruction, one that names a common mistake.

Step 3. Write the slides with the strongest headline (tell me which):
- Slide 1: the headline plus a subline of 8 words or fewer that says to swipe.
- Slides 2 to 6: one point each. Headline of 6 words or fewer, body of 20 words or fewer. Order them so each slide pulls to the next. The best point goes on slide 6.
- Slide 7: one line recap and one short call to action.

Step 4. Write the caption: 3 to 4 sentences. The first restates the headline in other words. The last says where to read the full post.

Rules:
- Spoken English. No jargon the post's reader would not use.
- Only facts and numbers from the post.
- No emojis, no hashtags.

Format your answer as:

Prompt 4: the Story (step 5, Instagram and Facebook Stories).

Prompt Story
You write Instagram Stories. Turn the blog post below into a 3 frame Story whose only job is to get the tap on the link sticker.

Step 1. Read the post and pick the one thing a reader most wants to know. The Story teases it. The post answers it. Never give the full answer in the Story.

Step 2. Write the frames:
- Frame 1: a blunt claim or a common mistake, 10 words or fewer, plus a two option poll (3 words or fewer per option). Give me three versions of this frame (claim, mistake, instruction) and say which is strongest.
- Frame 2: two short lines, 20 words total or fewer. What the post covers and who it helps, without the answer.
- Frame 3: one line of 10 words or fewer telling people to tap the link, plus link sticker text of 4 words or fewer.

Rules:
- Each frame has to make sense to someone who skipped the one before it.
- Spoken English. Only facts and numbers from the post.
- No emojis, no hashtags.

Format your answer as:
FRAME 1 OPTIONS (1, 2, 3, strongest #_)
POLL: A / B

Prompt 5: the email (step 6).

Prompt Email
You write short emails. Write one that gets my subscribers to click through and read the blog post below.

Step 1. Read the post and pick the one thing a reader gets from it. The email sells that one thing.

Step 2. Write three subject lines, 6 words or fewer each, that read like a note from a person, not a newsletter. No caps lock, no clickbait. One blunt claim, one common mistake, one that makes people curious. Add one preview line of 10 words or fewer.

Step 3. Write the email:
- 100 to 130 words.
- Open with the problem or the mistake in one or two sentences. No "hope you are well".
- Say what the post covers and who it helps. Tease the answer, never give it all away.
- One link only, written as [LINK] on its own line, with one short line above it telling people to read the post.
- Sign off with [YOUR NAME].

Rules:
- Paragraphs of one or two sentences. Spoken English.
- Only facts and numbers from the post.
- No emojis.

Format your answer as:

Prompt 6: the Google Business Profile posts (step 7). Fill in your business type and area at the top first.

Prompt Google Business Profile posts
You write Google Business Profile posts for a local business. Turn the blog post below into three different posts that I will publish one week apart.

My business: [type of business, e.g. plumber]
Area I serve: [city or region]

Step 1. Read the post and pick three different takeaways a local customer would care about. One per post. No two posts make the same point.

Step 2. Write each post:
- 60 to 100 words.
- First sentence states the takeaway in 15 words or fewer. It has to work alone, because it is all people see before they tap.
- Two to four more sentences that explain it the way a helpful owner would.
- Mention my type of business and my area once, where it reads naturally.
- Last line tells people to tap the button to read the full post.
- Suggest one photo I could take myself for the post.

Rules:
- No phone numbers, prices or web addresses in the text. The link goes on the Learn more button.
- Only facts and numbers from the post.
- No emojis, no hashtags.

Format your answer as:
POST 1 / Text / Photo idea
POST 2 / Text / Photo idea
POST 3 / Text / Photo idea

Prompt 7: the X thread (step 9). The link goes in the reply; the prompt writes the reply too.

Prompt X thread
You write threads for X. Turn the blog post below into a thread of 5 to 7 posts. The link to the blog post goes in a separate reply, never in the first post.

Step 1. Read the post and pick the one takeaway worth a thread. The thread covers that only.

Step 2. Write post 1: under 200 characters, a blunt claim or an instruction, a number if the post has one, no question, no "a thread". It has to earn the tap on Show more.

Step 3. Write posts 2 to 6: one point each, under 240 characters, each one leading to the next. Hold the best point for the second to last post.

Step 4. Write the last post: one line that says the full version is in the reply below, and the reply itself: one short line plus [LINK].

Rules:
- Spoken English. One idea per post.
- Only facts and numbers from the post.
- No emojis, no hashtags, no numbering like 1/7.

Format your answer as:

Steps 1 to 8 and the checklist format via @heytony.agency (Matt Diamante) on Instagram. Steps 9 and 10 come from @edward.builds (Edward Sturm) on which sites people click on Google, and from how we post on X. The prompts are the versions we run on mavek.ai posts.

Why Post the Same Blog Post 10 Times?

Because the post itself reaches almost no one on the day it goes live. Google takes days to weeks to rank a new page, and until then the only people who read it are the ones you send. Each of the ten posts is a different room full of people. LinkedIn connections and Facebook friends see the link. People who do not follow you find the reel on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Your email list gets the email, people searching your business on Google Maps see the Google Business Profile posts, and the person in a local Facebook group who asked the exact question gets your answer.

The same post also keeps your social accounts fed for a week without a single new idea. One blog post, ten pieces of content, and every one of them links back to a page on a site you own, which is the part Instagram and LinkedIn cannot take away from you.

Why Add an X Thread and a Reddit Answer?

The X thread and the Reddit answer put your blog post on the sites people click on Google. Edward Sturm's observation, which steps 9 and 10 are built on: the most clicked sites on Google are user-generated (YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X), and a post on one of them that opens with the keyword can show up in Google's AI Overviews. Promptwatch's data backs the Google half: Reddit held 2.10% of AI Overview citations in mid-August 2026, down only slightly from 2.37% in July.

ChatGPT is the exception. On 14 August 2026 ChatGPT Search almost stopped citing Reddit (3.83% of citations before, 0.52% after, per Promptwatch), and help centres, documentation and company sites took the share. So steps 9 and 10 are for Google and for the people in the thread; for ChatGPT, the page that gets cited is the one on your own site. To see which sites ChatGPT and Perplexity cite for your buyer's question today, run the manual AI visibility check once and count.

How Do You Run the Checklist in a Week?

The checklist fits in one working week for a single blog post, with the second and third Google Business Profile posts spilling into the two weeks after, and the Reddit answer whenever the thread exists.

  1. Day 1, share the link. Run prompt 1, post the three captions with your link from your business page on LinkedIn, Facebook and X. Then post them again from your personal profile. Personal profiles usually reach more people than pages do.
  2. Day 2, film the reel. Run prompt 2, pick the hook that sounds most like you, and film yourself saying the script to your phone. Post it as a reel on Instagram and Facebook. Keep the original video file.
  3. Day 2, repost the video. Upload that original file, not a download with the Instagram watermark, to TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Use the hook as the YouTube Shorts title and reuse the caption.
  4. Day 3, build the carousel. Run prompt 3, open Canva, search Instagram carousel, pick a free template, paste in the seven slides. Post it with the caption on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  5. Day 4, post the Story. Run prompt 4. A screenshot of the blog post or a photo is the background. Add the poll on frame 1 and the link sticker on frame 3, pointed at the post.
  6. Day 5, send the email. Run prompt 5, pick a subject line, swap in your link and your name, and send it as a plain email with one link.
  7. Days 5, 12 and 19, the Google Business Profile posts. Run prompt 6. Publish the first post now and the other two a week apart, each with a photo and a Learn more button that links to the blog post.
  8. Whenever the question comes up, the Facebook group. Search your local groups for the question the post answers. Write a two or three sentence answer in your own words, then add the link for anyone who wants the full version. Check the group's rules on links first, and never drop the link on a post where nobody asked.
  9. Day 6, the X thread. Run prompt 7 and post the thread without a link in it. Then add the reply with the one line and the link. X cuts the reach of posts that carry a link, so the link lives one tap below the thread, where the people who read to the end find it.
  10. Whenever the thread exists, the Reddit answer. Search Google for the question your post answers plus the word reddit. Open the top thread, answer in your own words, the way you would to a friend, and put the link at the end. No prompt for this one on purpose: Reddit removes answers that read like marketing, and it keeps the ones that read like a person.

Which Blog Posts Get the 10 Posts?

Every new blog post gets the 10 posts, and so do the old blog posts Google is already half-ranking. Open Search Console and run the page 2 keywords export: the posts sitting at position 7 to 20 are the ones a week of links and visits can push onto page 1. For posts that answer a buying question, the Search Console AI filter shows which searches those are. A post that answers a question your buyers type into Google is worth all ten; a company news post is worth step 1 and nothing else.

Where Does Mavek Fit?

Mavek writes the thing you are repurposing. It crawls your site, builds the keyword map, drafts the blog posts and tracks whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini recommend you for the questions they answer. It does not post to Instagram, X or Reddit; the ten posts are an hour or two of your week, or your assistant's, with the prompts above. If you are running content without a team, the content system post covers how the writing side fits around that hour.

Key Takeaways

  • One blog post becomes ten posts: LinkedIn, Facebook and X links; a reel on Instagram and Facebook; the same video on TikTok and YouTube Shorts; a carousel; a Story; an email; three Google Business Profile posts; one answer in a local Facebook group; an X thread; one Reddit answer.
  • Seven of the ten need writing, and the seven prompts at the top of this page write them. Paste the post, send, delete any number the post does not contain.
  • The X thread and the Reddit answer reach Google and its AI Overviews, which still cite Reddit. ChatGPT mostly stopped citing Reddit on 14 August 2026; for ChatGPT, your own site's page is the one that gets cited.
  • On X the link goes in the reply, never in the post. On Reddit, answer in your own words first, link last.
  • Post the link captions from your personal profile as well as your business page.
  • Upload the original video file to TikTok and YouTube Shorts, never the watermarked download.
  • Post in Facebook groups and Reddit threads only when someone asked the question. Everywhere else, post every time.
  • Start with the posts stuck on page 2 in Search Console; they need the push most.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is posting the same blog post ten times too much?

No, because no one sees all ten. A LinkedIn follower does not see your Google Business Profile post, and the people who find the reel on Instagram mostly do not follow you yet. Each of the ten is a different audience looking at a different format. The one place to be careful is your email list, which gets the post once.

Does answering on Reddit still get you into ChatGPT?

Not as a citation, for now. Promptwatch measured Reddit at 3.83% of ChatGPT Search citations from 18 July to 7 August 2026 and 0.52% from 14 to 17 August, and a Green Flag Digital study on 21 September 2026 found Reddit and Wikipedia gone from the 500 pages ChatGPT cited most for finance questions. Google is different: Reddit held 2.10% of AI Overview citations in mid-August, barely down from 2.37%. So the Reddit answer is for Google, its AI Overviews and the people reading the thread. For ChatGPT, the page that gets cited is the one on your own site.

Why does the link go in the reply on X?

Because X cuts the reach of posts that carry a link. Put the thread up without one, then add a reply with one short line and the link. People who read to the end tap it; the algorithm never sees it in the post it ranks. Same rule we use for every reel we post there.

Which Reddit thread?

The one where someone asked the question your post answers, in a subreddit your buyers read. Search Google for the question plus the word reddit, open the top thread, and answer in your own words before you add the link. A bare link gets removed on most subreddits; a real answer with a link at the end stays, and keeps getting read for years.

Which blog posts are worth ten posts?

The ones that answer a question your buyers ask, and the ones Google is already half-ranking. Open Search Console, run the page 2 keywords export on this blog, and start with the posts sitting at position 7 to 20: a week of links, shares and visits is the push those pages need. Old posts count. A post from last year that still answers the question gets the same ten.

Does reposting the same video on TikTok and YouTube Shorts hurt reach?

Reposting the file does not. Reposting a download with the Instagram watermark on it can, because TikTok and YouTube both downrank videos that carry another platform's logo. Upload the original file from your phone, use the hook as the YouTube title, and reuse the caption.

What if I have no email list or no Google Business Profile?

Skip those two and do the other eight. A Google Business Profile is free and takes about ten minutes to set up if you serve a local area, and the three weekly posts are the easiest reason to start one. An email list is the longer project; the Story link sticker and the carousel caption both work as the place to start collecting one.

Which AI tool do the prompts work in?

ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini all handle them. Each prompt ends with BLOG POST and a placeholder; paste your post there and send. If the answer uses a number that is not in your post, delete it. The prompts say to invent nothing, but check anyway.

Do the ten posts count as duplicate content for SEO?

No. Duplicate content is a question about pages on websites that Google indexes, and a LinkedIn post, a reel caption and a Reddit answer are not copies of your page; they are links and summaries pointing at it. The blog post stays the one canonical version, and every one of the ten sends people to it.

Want the blog posts written too?

Mavek drafts the posts from your keyword map, and tracks who ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini recommend instead of you. You run the ten posts. Free trial, no card.
