Daily Google rank tracking in six markets, desktop and mobile.
Track a keyword against any domain, in any of six countries, on either device. Mavek checks the top 100 every night, keeps the history, and tells you what moved. Ask it in chat or read it in the app.
What the rank tracker does
Mavek's rank tracker records where a domain ranks in Google's top 100 for each keyword you track, in six country markets, with desktop and mobile tracked separately. A snapshot is taken every night, you can refresh on demand, and the full history and movers report are available in the app and from the Mavek chat.
It is part of the SEO agent, not a separate product. The same keywords you research and cluster in Mavek can be put on watch the moment a page goes live, and the tracker picks the page up from the next snapshot. Positions come from live SERP lookups, not from a third-party index that refreshes when it feels like it.
Five things recorded per keyword, per day
Every line in the tracker is a keyword, a domain, a market, and a device. This is what each snapshot stores.
Position in Google's top 100
Each snapshot scans the first hundred organic results for your domain and records the exact position. If you are not in the top 100, the snapshot says so instead of guessing.
The URL that is ranking
Rank without the page is half the story. Every snapshot stores which URL on your domain held the position, so you can see when Google swaps one page for another.
Six country markets
United States, United Kingdom, India, Canada, Australia, and Germany. Each keyword is tracked per market, so a term that ranks third in India and thirtieth in the US shows up as two separate lines.
Desktop and mobile, separately
Mobile and desktop results differ more than most people expect. Mavek tracks them as distinct entries rather than averaging them into one number.
Any domain, including competitors
Track your own site and the two or three competitors you actually lose deals to. Their movement is recorded the same way yours is, on the same schedule.
How the daily check works
One snapshot per keyword per day, taken automatically. Refresh whenever you need to.
Add a keyword
Pick the keyword, the domain, the market, and the device. Mavek takes a baseline snapshot immediately, so you have a starting position on the first day, not after a week of waiting.
Nightly snapshot
Every night a job checks every active keyword and stores one snapshot per keyword per day. The job is idempotent: running it twice on the same day updates the existing row rather than creating a duplicate.
Refresh on demand
Shipped a change and do not want to wait until tonight? Trigger a fresh check for a keyword or a whole domain from the app or from chat, and the day's snapshot is replaced with the new result.
Stop tracking a keyword and its history is kept but the nightly job leaves it alone. Delete it outright and the history goes with it. Both are one instruction in chat.
What rose, what fell, and which page did it
A rank tracker that only shows a table is asking you to do the analysis yourself. The movers report compares every tracked keyword across your whole workspace between two dates and returns the biggest changes: what gained, what lost, what entered the top 100, and what dropped out of it. Each entry carries the URL that held the position, so a drop can be traced to a page rather than to a keyword.
Ask the Mavek chat "what moved this week?" and it runs the same report. Ask "how has our pricing page moved in the UK over 90 days?" and it pulls the per-keyword history instead. The rank tracker is a set of tools the agent can call, which is why it can sit inside a monthly report without you exporting anything. The monthly SEO report prompts show that working end to end with Search Console and GA4 data alongside it.
Built for teams that watch more than one site
If you run SEO for several client sites, or for your own brand plus the competitors you keep losing to, one workspace holds all of them.
Client domains in one workspace
Add each client's domain and track its keywords under it. The list can be filtered by domain, so one client's view never bleeds into another's.
Workspace-wide movers
The movers report runs across every domain you track. Monday morning, one question tells you which client needs attention first.
Competitors on the same schedule
Track a competitor's domain against the same keywords. Their snapshot is taken the same night as yours, so comparisons are like for like.
Mobile rank tracking
Most traffic for most sites is mobile, and Google's mobile results regularly differ from desktop for the same query in the same country. Mavek tracks the mobile result page as its own entry, with its own history and its own line in the movers report.
Desktop rank tracking
Desktop still dominates for B2B software and for anything people research at work. Track it separately, and when a keyword moves on one device and not the other, you will see that instead of an average that hides it.
Six markets and two devices means a single keyword can be tracked in up to twelve configurations. Pick the ones that match where your customers are, not all twelve by default.
What the rank tracker does not do
Four things people ask for that are not in the product today. Better to know now than after you have added 500 keywords.
It does not track Bing
The tracker reads Google results only. If Bing rankings matter to your business, Mavek cannot report them today, and this page will be updated if that changes.
It does not track cities or local packs
Markets are countries, not postcodes. You can compare Australia with Canada; you cannot compare Sydney with Melbourne, and map-pack positions are not recorded.
It does not report SERP feature ownership
You will not get a report on which featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes, or AI Overviews you appear in. The tracker records your organic position and URL.
It stops at position 100
A keyword you rank 140th for is stored as not ranked. That is the right answer for almost every decision, but it is worth knowing before you track a thousand long-shot terms.

Included in every Mavek plan
The rank tracker is not sold on its own. It comes with Mavek plans from $125 per month, alongside the rest of the SEO agent: site crawls and audits, keyword research and clustering, competitor gaps, content briefs, article drafts, and WordPress publishing. Connect Search Console and the tracked positions sit next to your real clicks and impressions.
Rank tracking, answered
What is a rank tracker?
A rank tracker is software that records where a website ranks in search results for a set of keywords, on a schedule, so you can see movement over time instead of checking by hand. Mavek's rank tracker checks Google's top 100 every night for each keyword, market, and device you track, and stores the position and the ranking URL.
How often does Mavek check rankings?
Once every night for every active keyword, with one snapshot stored per keyword per day. You can also trigger a refresh on demand for a single keyword or for every keyword on a domain, which replaces that day's snapshot with a fresh result.
Does Mavek track mobile rankings?
Yes. Desktop and mobile are tracked as separate entries for the same keyword and market. Each has its own history and shows up separately in the movers report, because the two result pages are often different.
Can I track competitors' rankings?
Yes. Add a competitor's domain alongside your own and track the same keywords against it. Competitor domains get the same nightly snapshot, history, and movers treatment, so you can see whether a drop on your side was a gain on theirs.
Does it track Bing or local map-pack rankings?
No. The tracker reads Google organic results only, and markets are countries rather than cities. Bing tracking, city-level tracking, and local pack positions are not available today.
How do I check my Google rank?
Searching for yourself misleads: Google personalizes results by location, device and history, so the position you see is not the position your buyers see. A rank tracker asks Google from a fixed market and device profile and records the answer. Mavek's does this nightly for every keyword in six markets, desktop and mobile separately, and keeps the history, so you see movement rather than a one-off snapshot.
How much does the rank tracker cost?
It is included in Mavek plans, which start at $125 per month, alongside the rest of the SEO agent: crawls, keyword research, briefs, drafting, and WordPress publishing. It is not sold as a standalone tool, and there is no separate per-keyword fee on the plan page.
